Events and Projects Officer

Salary: £21,000 - £23,000

Fixed Term, Full Time

Location: Woodstock, Oxfordshire

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with direct experience of planning events to be part of Plunkett’s Engagement Team and help us inspire rural communities across the UK to explore community ownership. In this role, you will engage with existing community co-operatives, rural community groups, a range of key stakeholders, Plunkett partners and supporters.

The Events and Projects Officer will help plan and deliver a series of exciting events to consider community ownership as a solution to the problems they face. In this role, you will also work closely with the Frontline Team at Plunkett to help deliver us direct project support to community groups and Plunkett members.

The Communications and Engagement Manager will play a leading role in the development and implementation of our strategy to inspire more rural communities than ever before to consider community ownership as a solution to the problems they face, and develop a series of engagement activities to support them to explore how community ownership could work for them.
