Everyone is welcome to join us at Hindon Village Hall for this relaxed and informal session which will offer an opportunity to meet members of other local community businesses, make friends, exchange ideas and network.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take part in a practical workshop led by a Plunkett adviser focussing on volunteer engagement. Following the workshop there will be an opportunity to visit Hindon Village Stores, a wonderful village shop that is run and manned by a team of dedicated volunteers; you'll see the shop in action, hear its story and meet members of the committee.

The event is FREE to attend and is open to all community business models; whether you're a shop, cafe, pub, woodland or any other community business you'll receive a warm welcome.

As well as having the opportunity to attend a workshop led by a Plunkett advisor and to ask them questions this is also great chance to meet and network with members of other groups, to swap ideas, celebrate your successes and share learnings with one another.

The event is taking place as part of the Rural Community Co-operatives project and is funded by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation. To find out more about the project please visit www.plunkett.co.uk/rural-community-co-operatives.
