Everyone is welcome to join us at Ropley Courtyard Village Shop & Post Office in Ropley for this relaxed and informal session which will offer an opportunity to meet members of other local community businesses, exchange ideas and network.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take part in a practical workshop focussing on membership strategy. We'll share top tips on keeping your members engaged, ideas on how to keep your membership strategy up to date and consider the role of members in ensuring the long term sustainability of your community business.

The team at Ropley Courtyard Shop have kindly offered to host the session which gives us a fantastic chance to hear their story. Their community business has been thriving for over a decade and this get together will showcase their shop and post office. Members of the team and committee will also be on hand to answer questions and for you to swap hints and tips with.

The event is FREE for Plunkett members, or just £8 per person for non-members, and is open to all community business models; whether you're a shop, cafe, pub, woodland or any other community business you'll receive a warm welcome.

The event is taking place as part of the Rural Community Co-operatives project and is funded by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation. To find out more about the project please visit www.plunkett.co.uk/rural-community-co-operatives.
