The upcoming changes to pension legislation mean that community co-operatives must be prepared to manage the process confidently. We've partnered with Step by Step Auto Enrolment on their series of one-day workshops throughout 2016 which are aimed at small businesses, and are therefore suitable for the community co-operative network. A number of community co-operatives have already attended workshops, including Sally Hordern from The Burrow Community Shop and Cafe in Devon, who said:

“The whole idea of the workplace pension scheme had been filling me with dread, particularly as our staging date was so close. What was especially helpful was the fact that by the end of the day we were logged on, registered and ready to go. I have already carried out further steps in the procedures so that when the first payment is due, by the end of this month, it should all go through automatically. It was certainly very worthwhile and helpful, so thank you very much indeed for organising it.”
