Case Studies

Through a wide range of projects we have delivered and networks and partnerships we have worked with, we are in regular contact with a diversity of rural social enterprise and co-operative organizations. As the UK’s leading provider of specialist consultancy and training services to rural group enterprises we are also involved in direct delivery of support and advice to organizations covering all aspects of rural social and economic life.

This section of the website showcases just a few of the organisations that we have worked with, primarily the organizations supported by the Enterprise for Inclusion programme. Case studies range from agricultural co-operatives and community owned shops, through to credit unions and child care services.

This section also hosts two new films: Strengthening Rural Communities across the Northwest, which introduces 5 projects from the Regional Development Agency supported programme, and Focus on Community Shops, an in-depth casestudy on the Tackley (Oxfordshire) all-in-one Village Centre. A further film is also available featuring Uig Community Shop, Isle of Lewis in Scotland.
