Social Enterprise UK are running a one day conference for public bodies, commissioners and social enterprises to find out how the new Social Value Act will impact their work and what changes they will need to make to comply with it.
Workshops running throughout the day will offer practical support on keys areas including commissioning for social value and measuring social impact.
Speakers include Chris White MP, who first tabled the Social Value Act in parliament, and Jo Webber of the NHS confederation who will give an insight into social value from the commissioning perspective.
