PEOPLE & FACILITIES

The competence of the Plunkett Foundation derives from a network of people who combine their knowledge, skills and experience to enable the development of rural group enterprise worldwide. Formally, the Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees democratically elected by its members. The Foundation’s Chief Executive is appointed by the Trustees to manage the permanent staff team, based at Woodstock in rural Oxfordshire. In addition to the permanent staff, approved associate consultants conduct assignments on the Foundation’s behalf according to requirements. The Foundation also has four honorary patrons, who use their experience and personal standing to act as wider advocates for Plunkett’s objectives and activities. The Plunkett Foundation permanent staff work from rural Oxfordshire, on the edge of the Blenheim Park Estate. The Foundation’s premises also house the reference library and information centre and are equipped with state-of-the-art training facilities.
