Press and Communications Manager
Salary range: £27,000 to £30,000
Plunkett Foundation is looking to recruit a Press & Communications Manager on a full-time, permanent basis to join its central team in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. It is also seeking a press & communications officer on a full-time, fixed-term basis for 3-6 months to fill Plunkett's immediate, short-term communications needs.
The press & communications manager will lead on press and communications work across the Foundation and our range of exciting projects.
Working with internal staff and closely with our range of partners, the ideal candidate will represent the views of Plunkett Foundation to press and media. Press and media relations and securing high profile regular coverage for the Plunkett Foundation will be the main focus of this role.
The candidate will also be responsible for helping to effectively develop and deliver our communication plans using existing communications tools alongside developing new approaches where relevant. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a strong track record in press and communications and ability to take a proactive role in its delivery to make a difference in a well-respected organisation.
If you are educated to degree level, with excellent communication skills and experience of developing and managing press and communications functions, this could be the role for you.
