We support people in rural areas to use co-operative and social enterprise approaches to help themselves in a sustainable manner by:

helping rural communities save vital services by setting up community-owned enterprises
helping farmers to maintain their livelihoods by forming and developing co-operatives
helping rural voluntary organisations to reduce their dependence on grants and subsidies by using enterprising approaches
showing public bodies how they can use their funds more effectively by helping people to help themselves
